1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Technologies such as localStorage can retain similar information. Article 4 of Romanian Law no. 506/2004 requires information and consent before non-essential storage or access. Technologies strictly necessary to transmit communications or provide a service you requested may be exempt from consent.
2. Technologies currently used
This website does not install analytics tools, advertising pixels or embedded social modules. Your preference is saved in localStorage under tdo-cookie-preferences: choice, policy version and saved date, valid for up to 180 days. This storage is necessary to remember your requested choice. The hosting provider may use technical security or infrastructure mechanisms.
3. Anti-spam protection
When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile loads at the contact form to verify legitimate interactions and prevent abuse. It may process technical data and use security storage depending on configuration and browser; we do not use it for advertising. Submission remains blocked when verification is unavailable.
4. External services and links
Fonts are served from this website without requests to external services. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and SmartDance buttons are links. Opening them takes you to services whose own cookie and privacy policies apply separately. TDO does not load Facebook or Instagram feeds.
5. Your choice
On your first visit you can choose “Accept cookies” or “Necessary only”. Both options currently retain necessary technologies only: there are no optional cookies to enable. Browsing is not treated as optional consent. If non-essential services are introduced, we will update the policy and request a new choice before loading them.
6. Changing preferences
Reopen preferences in the footer or on this page and select “Necessary only”. Clearing website data in your browser removes the saved choice and shows the banner again. After 180 days or a policy version change, a new choice is requested. Blocking storage may prevent remembering your choice; it does not enable tracking.
7. Contact and review
For questions about technologies and data, email stepupdancecluj@gmail.com. The inventory must be rechecked before publication and whenever services change. The privacy policy explains processed data, GDPR rights and the ANSPDCP contact.
